Steve Feinstein (tenor vocals, guitar, ukulele) started playing guitar at the age of nine. At his mother’s insistence, he continued playing through his teen years. Steve formed his first band, Stetson, while in college in the mid-70s, playing songs by the Beatles, America, Paul Simon, James Taylor, etc. Sound familiar? He has continued to play those same songs and audiences still love these classic oldies tunes. For the past 8 years, Steve and his wife Kathy formed the popular duo, Fein Tuned, performing at venues throughout San Antonio and the Hill Country.
In 2003, Steve recorded a CD of his original songs, entitled Be - you can hear Kathy singing many of the harmonies on that CD. With his former band, The Tim and Bob Show, and with Don Hymel, Steve has recorded a second CD, Take It Outside.
Don Hymel describes himself as "a singer who plays guitar." He has been performing and writing music for more than a half century. In the last 15 or so years, Don has been part of The Tim and Bob Show, Sellers and Hymel, and now Steve and Don Music. His CD of original music, Ain’t Too Tired, was released in 2018. He also shared his songwriting, vocal, and guitar skills on 2008's Take It Outside, The Tim and Bob Show’s award-winning CD. Don believes his very best performances are those with Steve Feinstein at his side.
Blissfully free of the 9-5 grind, Don devotes his creativity not only to his music, but also to voice work. He has provided character voices for two stop-motion animation series based on the film and TV series The Highlander, and regularly provides character work as well as editorial assistance for the bi-lingual podcast 3cuentos.
